Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-
- Length (l) = 15 cm
- Breadth (b) = 20 cm
ᴛᴏ ғɪɴᴅ :-
- Diagonal (d) of rectangle
sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-
On using Pythagoras theorem,we get,
➭ Diagonal² = Length² + breadth²
➭ d² = l² + b²
➭ d² = 15² + 20²
➭ d² = 225 + 400
➭ d² = 625
➭ d = √625
➭ d = 25 cm
Hence,
- Diagonal (d) of rectangle is 25 cm
More Formulas :-
- Area = length²
- Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)
- Diagonal = √(length² + breadth²)

⭐ Given :-
- Length Of Rectangle = 15cm.
- Breadth Of Rectangle = 20cm.
⭐ To Find :-
- Diagonal.
⭐ Solution :-
We know the Formula that,
Diagonal = √l² + h²
Put the values.
➝ Diagonal = √15² + 20²
➝ Diagonal = √225 + 400.
➝ Diagonal = √625.
➝ Diagonal = 25cm.
Hence, The Value Of Diagonal = 25cm.
⭐ Some Important Formulae :-
- Area Of Rectangle = l × b.
- Perimeter = 2(l + b).
