Draw an rectangle such that opposite sides of 1 should 3x + 3y and 13 and second be x + 3y and 7

As opposite sides of rectangle are equal so we get 2 equations that are

3x + 3y = 13        let this be (1)

and

x + 3y = 7            let this be (2)

subtracting (2) from (1)

we get 2x = 6 and x = 3

x + 3y = 7

putting value of x in it

3 + 3y = 7

3y = 4

and y = 4/3

therefore x = 3 and y = 4/3
