Given:-

Perimeter= 48cm

Sides (Length and Breadth)=2:3

we know

Perimeter of a Rectangle=2(l+b)

here we don't know neither l nor b.

but their ratio is 2:3

so taking them as 2x and 3x respectively

that is

2(2x+3x)=48

2×5x=48

10x=48

x=48/10

x=4.8

therefore the value of x is 4.8

now we've to find length and breadth

length=2x=2×4.8=9.6

breadth=3x=3×4.8=14.4

therefore the length and breadth is 9.6 andand 14.4 cm respectively

let's check it's correct or not

2(9.6+14.4)=48

2×24=48

48=48

L.H.S=R.H.S

hence verified

hope it helps
