Hey friend,

Here is the solution :-

First, we have to find the length so that we can find the area, so :

let \: the \: length \: be \: x \\  \\ then \: according \: to \: question \:  \\  \\  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{x}{5}  \\  \\ now \: by \: cross \: multiplication \\  \\ 5 \times x = 2 \times 5 \\  \\ 5x = 10 \\  \\ x =  \frac{10}{5}  \\  \\ x = 2

Here we get the length = 2cm.

Now we can find the area of the rectangle :

area \: of \: a \: rectangle \:  = length \:  \times  \: breadth \\  \\ length \:  = 2cm \:  \:  \:  \: breadth \:  = 5cm \\  \\ 2cm \times 5cm =  {10 \: cm}^{2}

➡ So, the area of the rectangle is 10 square cm.

✨I hope this will help you....✨
