The sides of a rectangle are in the ratio 3:7 and its area is 1029m^2. find the deminsions of the rectangle and then find its perimetre​

Answer.

Let length be 7x and breadth be 3x.

Area= 7x × 3x

21x^2

Now,

21x^2=1029

X^2 = 1029/21

X^2 = 49

X = √49

=7

Now,

Length= 7x = 7×7= 49m

Breadth= 3x = 3×7 = 21m

Now,

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

= 2(49+21)

= 2×70

= 140m
