Given:

Length of the rectangle , L = 120cm

Breadth of the rectangle, B = 22 cm

To find :

find the value of the diagonal.

Solution:

As we know that,

Diagonal = √(length)²+(breadth)²

               =√(120)²+(22)²

               =√14400+448

               =√14884

               =122

Hence the diagonal of the diagonal is 122cm.

Answer:

122 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

One of the properties of the Rectangles is that they form Right angle with sides. So if diagonal divides the rectangle into two triangle, both of the triangle will be Right angled triangle.

We all know that right angle triangle satisfy pythgorous theorem,

Thus we have:

L_{Diagonal}^2 = L_{length}^2 +L_{width}^2\\Length\,\, of\,\, the \,\,diagonal = \sqrt{22^2+120^2} = 122 cm
