let be side of rectangular be 9X and 7X
Perimeter =) 2 (l+b)
=) 2 (9x-7x)
=) 2×16x
=) 32x
=) 32x = 114
=) x = 114÷31
=) x = 4.5
Therefore,
Smaller number = 9x = 9×45
= 40.5
Bigger number = 7x = 7×45
= 31.5
