Given :

Length:breadth = 9:7

So we can say, length is 9x

Breadth 7x

Perimeter = 2(l +b )

So 2( 9x + 7x ) = 144

2 x 16x = 32x =144

x = 144/32 = 4.5

Length is 9 * 4.5 = 40.5 units

Breadth is 7*4.5= 31.5 units
