Heya...
Here is your answer ----
Let the sides (length and breadth) be 9x and 7x respectively.
Ac/Q, It's perimeter is 144 m. So, :--
=> Perimeter = 2 × (l + b)
=> 144 = 2 × (9x + 7x)
=> 144 = 2 × 16x
=> 144 = 32x
=> x = 144/32
=> x = 36/8
=> x = 4.5
Length = 9x = 4.5 × 9 = 40.5 m
Breadth = 7x = 4.5 × 7 = 31.5 m

Hey!
Given,
Ratio = 9:7
Let the sides be 9x and 7x respectively.
We know,
Perimeter = 2(l+b)
144 = 2(9x + 7x)
144 = 2*16x
144 = 32 x
144/32 = x
4.5 = x
Now, length = 9x = 9 * 4.5 = 40.5 m
breadth = 7x = 7 *4.5 = 31.5 m
