Solution:

Let, the length of field 4x m

Breadth = 3x m

Area 12x² m²

Therefore,

12x² = 1728

x² = 1728/12 = 144

x=√144

Therefore, x = 12

Length = (4 x 2) m = 48 m

Breadth (3 x 12) m = 36 m

Perimeter = 2(48+36) m

= 168 m

Therefore,

Cost of fencing = (168 x 30) RS

= 5040 Rs

So, the cost of fencing it at 30 per meter Rs. 5040.

 \huge\sf\red{Given}✏

  • Length and Breadth in ratio 4 : 3
  • Area = 1728m²

\huge\sf\red{Solution }✏

Let the length of the park be 4x m.

And Breadth be 3x m.

Area of park = (4x × 3x) = 1728m²

= (4x × 3x) = 1728m²

= 12x² = 1728m²

= x² = 1728/12

= x² = 144

= x = 144

= 12

Length = (4 × 12) m = 48m

Breadth = (3 × 12) m = 36m

Perimeter of park = 2(l+b)

= 2(48+36)m

= 2×84

= 168 m

The cost of fencing = (168 × 30) = 5040.
