∴ x = 12

Perimeter = 2( 4 x + 3x ) = 2 × 7x= 168 m

Cost = 168 x 40 = 6720

Dimensions=l=4x,b=3x

Area of rectangular park=1728m²

i.e.,lxb=1728

4x x 3x=1728

12x²=1728

x²=1728/12

x²=144

x=square root of 144

Length=4(12)=48m

Breadth=3(12)=36m

Perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(84)

=168m

Cost for fencing rectangular park=168mxRs.40=Rs.6720
