area of right angled triangle= 1/2×base×height; 30=1/2×4x (2x-1);2x^2-x-15=0; (x-3)(2x+5)

Answer:

height = 2x-1 cm

base = 4x cm

area of right angled triangle = 1/2 * base * height

=> 1/2 * 4x * (2x-1) = 30cm^2

=> 2x(2x-1) = 4x^2 - 2x

=> 4x^2-2x-30 = 0

=> 2(2x^2 - x - 15) = 0

=> 2x^2 - x - 15 = 0

=> 2x^2 - 6x + 5x -15 = 0

=> 2x(x -3) + 5(x-3) = 0

=> (2x + 5)(x - 3) = 0

2x+5=0

2x= -5

x= -5/2

x-3=0

x=3

hope it helps you ✨ ✨✨
