Given that, the two adjacent sides of a right angled triangle are 12 cm and 5 cm. We have to find the hypotenuse of the triangle.

The hypotenuse be

    = √(12² + 5²) cm

    = √(144 + 25) cm

    = √169 cm

    = √(13²) cm

    = 13 cm
