We know that area of triangle=

s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c)

where $$s=\frac{a+b+c}{2} and a, b, c are three sides

s=

5+12+13

=15

Then area of triangle=

15(15−5)(15−12)(15−13)

=

15×10×3×2

=

900

=30cm
