Question :-

  • The sides of a triangle 3 cm,5cm,6cm.what is it's area.

 \\ \\

Given :-

  • First Side = 3cm
  • Second Side = 5cm
  • Third Side = 6cm

 \\ \\

To Find :-

  • What is the Area of Triangle ?

 \\ \\

Solution :-

 \\

 \quad {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{s \: = \: \dfrac{a \: + \: b \: + \: c}{2} }} \\

 \quad {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{s \: = \: \dfrac{3 \: + \: 5 \: + \: 6}{2} }} \\

 \quad {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\sf{s \: = \: \dfrac{14}{2} }} \\

\quad {:} \longrightarrow \sf{\bf{s \: = \: 7 }} \\

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Using Heron's Formula :-

 \\

  \longmapsto \sf \boxed{\bf{\: Area = \: \sqrt{s(s - a) \: (s - b) \: (s - c)} }} \\

  \longmapsto \sf {\sf{\: Area = \: \sqrt{7(7- 3) \: (7- 5) \: (7 - 6)} }} \\

  \longmapsto \sf {\sf{\: Area = \: \sqrt{7 \times 4 \times 2 \: \times 1} }} \\

  \longmapsto \sf {\sf{\: Area = \: \sqrt{56} }} \\

  \longmapsto \sf {\bf{\: Area = \: 7.48 }} \\

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

So, the Area of Triangle is 7.48 \sf cm^{2}
