now °•° this is a scalene Δ which we can tell bcoz all sides are diff. we hv to apply heron's formula

which is√[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)] where s is semiperimeter or perimeter/2 and a,b,c r all the sides respectively ..

s = {(15+17+8)/2 }cm= 20cm

now , let area be u

u = √[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)] cm²

u = √[20(20-15)(20-17)(20-8)] cm²

u = √[20(5)(3)(12)] cm²

u = √[20(5)(3)(12)] cm²

u = √[5*4*5*3*3*4] cm²

u = [ 5*3*4] cm²

u = 60cm²
