Heya,

Given:-
Sides of the triangle = 22cm, 20cm, 18cm

To find:-
Area

Solution:-

Perimeter = a + b + c
Perimeter = 22 + 20 + 18
Perimeter = 42 + 18
Perimeter = 60

s = a + b + c / 2 or Perimeter / 2
s = 60/2
s = 30

Using herons formula,

Area = √ s ( s-a ) ( s-b ) ( s-c )

Area = √ 30 (30-22) (30-20) (30-18)

Area = √ 30 × 8 × 10 × 12

Area = √ 3 × 10 × 4 × 2 × 10 × 4 × 3

Area = 3 × 10 × 4√2

Area = 120√2cm

Hope my answer helps you :)

Hey there,
Down here ⏬

☆ By Heron's formula,
Area of traingle = whole root of s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

☆ s = 22+20+18/2 = 50/2 = 25 cm
a = 22cm
b = 20 cm
c = 18 cm

☆ Now, Area of Traingle =
whole root of 50 (50-22) (50-20) (50-18)
= whole root of 50×30×32
= whole root of 2×5×5×2×5×3×2×2×2×2×2
= 2×5×2×2 root of 5×3×2
40 root 30 cm^2

Hope it helps.
