Hi friend
---------------
Your answer
--------------------

Given that : - sides of a triangle are 22 cm , 20 cm and 18 cm.

To calculate : - Area of the triangle = ?

SOLVING (BY HERON'S FORMULA)
---------------------------------------------------

Semi perimeter = S = (a + b + c)/2 = (22 + 20 + 18)/2 = 30

Then,
-----------

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}  \\  \\    = >  \sqrt{30(30 - 28)(30 - 20)(30 - 18)} \: cm {}^{2}   \\  \\  =  >  \sqrt{30 \times2 \times 10 \times 12 }  cm {}^{2} \\  \\  =  >  \sqrt{7200}  \: cm {}^{2}  \\  \\  =  > 84.85 \: cm {}^{2}  \: (approximately)

Heron's formula : √ s (s -a) (s - b) (s -c)

Sides of the triangle 18cm ,20cm and 22cm that a,b, and c respectively.

Perimeter = sum of sides

P = 18 + 20 + 22 = 60

S = 60/ 2 = 30

s - a = 30 - 18 = 12

s - b = 30 - 20 = 10

s - c = 30 - 22 = 8

√ 30 × (12) ×(10)× (8)
= √ 2 x 5 x 3 x 2 x 3 x 2 x 5 x 2 x 2 x 2 x2
= 120 √ 2 cm^2
