to find the altitude,letz first find the area using heron's formula
area=root of s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=root of  (25+39+56) /2  *(60-25)  (60-39)  (60-56)
= root of 60 (35) (21) (4)
=root of 176400
=420m2
area of triangle is also =1/2*b*h
where b is base and h is the corresponding altitude
so,to find altitude corresponding to longest side,lets take the longest side,56 as the base.
so,area= 1/2*56*h=420
28h=420
h=420/28
=15cm
hope it helps..

Use heron formula to find the area of triangle and then use area of triangle :- b*h/2...
