Hello,
we use the formula of Heron:
A=√p×(p-a)×(p-b)×(p-c)
where:
p is the semiperimeter of the triangle, and a,b c are the sides.

we calculate the semiperimeter of the triangle:
p=(a+b+c):2=(42+34+20):2=96:2=48 cm

we calculate the area:
A=√48×(48-42)×(48-34)×(48-20);
  =√48×6×14×28=√112896=336 cm²

The area of the triangle is 336 cm².

The logest sid is a=42 cm.
we calculate the height we have to use the formula:
h=2A:a=(2×336):42=672:42=16 cm

The height on the longest side is h=16 cm

bye :-)
