s=9+7+14/2=30/2=15

area of triangle =

underroot s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

=15(15-7)(15-9)(15-14)

=15*8*6*1

=720

underroot 720=9*16*5

=3*4 underroot 5

=12 underroot 5

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

A = 26.83 cm^2

● Explanation -

# Given -

a = 7 cm

b = 9 cm

c = 14 cm

# Solution -

Semiperimeter is given by -

s = (a+b+c)/2

s = (7+9+14)/2

s = 15 cm

Area of triangle is -

A = √[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]

A = √[15 (15-14) (15-7) (15-9)]

A = √(15 × 1 × 8 × 6)

A = √(720)

A = 26.83 cm^2

Hence, area of triangle is 26.83 cm^2.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
