Let the sides of the triangle ABC be x, 3x and 5x.

Therefore,

Perimeter =AB +BC+ CA

90= x+ 3x+ 5x

90 = 9x

x = 10 cm

Thus, length of the longest side = 5x

= 5 (10)

= 50 cm
