The sides of a triangle are in ratio 5:12:13 and its perimeter is 150 m. Find the area of the triangle.

Sides =5:12:13

Lets consider sides as x.

5x+12x+13x=150

30x=150

x=5

Sides=25,60,65

Area using herons formula =

square root of[s*(s-a)*(s-b)*(s-c)              (s= half of perimeter)

=square root of[75*50*15*10]

=750 square meters
