Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter =2x+3x+4x= 13.5

9x=13.5

x = 13.5 /9= (27/2 )/9 = 27 /2 * 1/9

= 3/2

so, sides are 3, 9/2=4.5, 6

Answer:

Question:- Find sides of a triangle whose perimeter is 13.5cm and sides are in the ratio of 2:3:4

Solution:-

We know Perimeter of a triangle= sum of all sides

Let the sides be x

Here it'll be

2x+3x+4x=13.5

9x=13.5

x=13.5/9

x=1.5

Therefore the sides are

2x=2×1.5=3 cm

3x=3×1.5=4.5 cm

4x=4×1.5=6 cm

Let's check whether it's correct or not

2x+3x+4x=13.5

3+4.5+6=13.5

13.5=13.5

L.H.S = R.H.S

hence verified

Hope it helps
