let the sides are 2x 3x and 4x
now we have 4x as the longest side and the value is 20cm
4x = 20
X= 5
the other sides are 2×5 = 10 and 3×5 = 15

Let the common multiple be x
Therefore the sides are 2x,3x and 4x respectively
The longest side (4x) is 20 cm more than shortest side (2x)

Thus
4x - 2x = 20
2x = 20
x = 20/2
x= 10

Thus the sides of the triangle are
2x = 2*10 = 20cm
3x = 3*10 = 30cm
4x = 4*10 = 40cm

Here you can see that
40-20 = 20cm...
