Answer:

Given,

The perimeter of the triangle is 36 cm

Let,

The sides of triangle be 3x, 4x and 5x.

We know that,

The perimeter of a triangle = sum of all sides

So, perimeter of the triangle = 3x + 4x + 5x

or, 36 = 12x

or, 12x = 36

or, x = 36/12

or, x = 3

So, the sides of the triangle are:(i) 3x cm

= 3 × 3 cm

= 9 cm

(ii) 4x cm

= 4 × 3 cm

= 12 cm

(iii) 5x cm

= 5 × 3 cm

= 15 cm

The sides of the triangle are: 9 cm, 12 cm and 15 cm.
