Answer:

4ꪎ+5ꪎ+6ꪎ = 120

15ꪎ = 120

ꪎ = 120/15

ꪎ = 8

Hence Sides of triangle are ⬇️

* 4×8 = 32cm

* 5×8 = 40cm.

* 6×8 = 48cm

Given :-

The sides of a triangle are in the Ratio 4:5:6

Perimeter of triangle is 120cm

To Find :-

What are the length of sides?

Solution :-

~Here, we’re given the ratio of sides of a triangle , perimeter of that triangle and we need to find the length of its sides. Firstly we’ll assume the sides of the triangle according to the given ratios and then we’ll form an equation according to the question. After solving that equation we can find the sides of the triangle.

_____________

As we know that,

Perimeter of a triangle = Sum of all sides

Let the length of sides be :

  • First side = 4x
  • Second side = 5x
  • Third side = 6x

Solving for x :-

⟶ 4x + 5x + 6x = 120

⟶ 15x = 120

⟶ x = 120/15

⟶ x = 8

Finding the sides :-

First side = 4x = 4 × 8 = 24 cm

Second side = 5x = 5 × 8 = 40 cm

Third side = 6x = 6 × 8 = 48 cm

_____________

Hence,

  • Sides of the triangle are 24 cm , 40 cm , 48 cm
