To find :-

• Sides of triangle

Solution :-

As they given sides are in ratio 5:6:7

Let it be 5x : 6x : 7x

As we know Perimeter is nothing but sum of sides

So,

5x + 6x + 7x = 72cm

18x = 72cm

x = 72cm/18

x = 4cm

Finding sides :-

5x = 5(4)

=20cm

6x = 6(4)

= 24 cm

7x = 7(4)

= 28cm

So, sides of triangle are 20cm , 24cm , 28cm

Verification:-

As we know sum of sides is called Perimeter Hence we got three sides Its sum should be equal Perimeter of triangle (72cm)

So,

20cm + 24cm + 28cm = 72cm

72cm = 72cm

LHS = RHS
