Let the unit of ratio be x then

3x+4x+5x=36
12x=36
x=36/12
x=3

Now,Sides of the triangle are 3*3=9cm,3*4=12cm and 3*5=15cm.

s=36/2. [s is the semiperimeter of the triangle]
s=18.

By, Heron's formula
Ar. of the triangle=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c).
√18(18-9)(18-12)(18-15)
√18*9*6*3
√2,916
54

Hence the area of the triangle=54cm^2.
