Hey Friend ☺

Let the common multiple be x.

So the lengths of the tri angle are 9x , 12x & 18x

Longest side is 18x

18x = 12

》x = 12/18

》x = 2/3

So

9x = 9 × 2/3

= 3 × 2

= 6 cm

12x = 12 × 2/3

= 4 × 2

=8 cm

So the other two side of the triangle are of measure 6cm & 8 cm

Hope it helps you ..!!

Hii friend,

Let AB , BC and AC be the sides of the ∆ ABC.

AB:BC:AC = 9:12:18

Let AB = 9X, BC = 12X and AC = 18X.

Let AC is the longest side of the triangle ABC.

AC = 12 cm. [ GIVEN]

BUT ,

AC = 18X

12 = 18X

X = 18/12

X = 2/3.

Therefore,

AC = 18× 2/3 = 6 × 2 = 12 cm

BC = 12X = 12×2/3 = 4×2 = 8 cm

AB = 9X = 9 × 2/3 = 3 × 2 = 6 cm

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU....... :-)
