The sides of a triangle, taken in order, are each 3cm longer than the preceeding side. If the perimeter of the triangle is 81 cm. Find the sides of triangle

Let one side of the triangle be x cm.

then the other sides will eb (x + 3) cm and (x + 6) cm.

Perimeter of the triangle = (x + x + 3 + x + 6) = 3x + 9 cm

But , perimeter = 81 cm

so, 3x + 9 = 81

3x = 72

so,x = 24 cm.

so, Length of all sides = 24 cm , 27 cm and 30 cm.
