Here , the various sides of the triangular field are -

Side 1 => 165 m

Side 2 => 143 m

Side 3 => 154 m

Perimeter of of the given triangular field -

=> [ Sum of all sides ]

=> [ Side 1 + Side 2 + Side 3 ]

=> [ 165 + 143 + 154 ] m

=> 462 m

So , the perimeter of the field is 462 m .

Semiperimeter of the field -

=> 231 m

Area -

=> √ 231 × 66 × 88 × 77

=> √ 103306896

=> 10164 m

Now ,

Cost of ploughing

=> 50 Paisa / metre ²

=> Rs. 0.5 / m ²

Required Cost -

=>Rs. 10164 × 0.5

Rs. 2032 . 8

Thus , the required cost is Rs. 2032.8

GIVEN :

•The sides of a triangular field are 165 m , 143 m and 154 m.

TO FIND :

•The cost of ploughing it at 50 paise per sq.m .

SOLUTION :

=> Perimeter of triangular field = sum of all sides

=> Perimeter of triangular field =(165 + 143 + 154)m

=> Perimeter of triangular field = 462 m.

Now, we have to find the cost of ploughing ,

=> 50 paisa / metre

=> 50/100 / metre

=>Rs.0.5 / metre

=> Since, Required cost = 462m ×Rs.0.5 / m

=> Required cost = Rs.231 .

Therefore, the required cost is Rs. 231 .
