Let the sides be 2x m, 6x m and

7x m.

Then,

Perimeter = 300m

=2x +6x +7x =300

=15x=300

=x=300/15

=x=20

Thus,the sides are 2×20=40m,

6×20=120 and 7×20m=140m

Then,

semi perimeter,s =300m/2 =150m

a=40m, b=120m, c=140m

By Heron's formula,

Area of triangle:

=√[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]

=√[150(150-40)(150-120)(150-140)]

=√(150×110×30×10)

=√4,950,000

=2224.86m²
