Step-by-step explanation:

Now Ready

  1. ratio=x
  2. 3x + 5x + 7x = 300m
  3. 15x = 300m
  4. x = 300/15
  5. x = 20m

1 side = 20×3=60m

2 side = 20×5= m

3 side = 20×6=120m

area of traingle =60++120

Given :

  • The sides of a triangular plot are in the ratio of 3:5:7.
  • Perimeter of Triangle = 300m

 \\

To Find :

  • Area of Triangle

 \\

Solution :

⟶ Let the 1st side be 3x

⟶ Let the 2nd side be 5x

⟶ Let the 3rd side be 7x

According to the Question :

➟ Perimeter of Triangle = 300

➟ 3x + 5x + 7x = 300

➟ 8x + 7x = 300

➟ 15x = 300

➟ x = 300 / 15

➟ x = 20

Therefore :

  • 1st side = 3x = 3 × 20 = 60m
  • 2nd side = 5x = 5 × 20 = 100m
  • 3rd side = 7x = 7 × 20 = 140m

✰ Now we will find the area of Triangle using Heron's Formula.

⟼ s = a + b + c / 2

⟼ s = 60 + 100 + 140 / 2

⟼ s = 160 + 140 / 2

⟼ s = 300 / 2

⟼ s = 150m

So semi perimeter is 150m now area will be :

⟹ √s (s - a) (s - b) (s - c)

⟹ √150 (150 - 60) (150 - 100) (150 - 140)

⟹ √150 × 90 × 50 × 10

⟹ 1500√3m²

Thus Area of Triangle is 1500√3m²
