Answer:

19.5 cm

Step- by- step- explanation:

2/3p +2q + 5/2 = 2p + q/2

2p - 2/3p + q/2 - 2q = 5/2

4/3p - 3/2q = 5/2

8p - 9q = 15....(i)

(II) 2p + q/2 = 5/3p +q + 1/2

2p - 5/3p +q/2 - q = 1/2

p/3 - q/2 = 1/2

2p - 3q = 3....(ii)

multiplying (ii) with 3

6p - 9q = 9...(iii)

Subtracting (iii) from (i)

2p = 6

p = 3

substituting p=3 in (ii),

6 - 3q = 3

3q = 3

q = 1

substituting p and q in any of the sides given,

2p + q/2 = 6 + 1/2

= 6.5

perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3a

= 3 (6.5) = 19.5 cm

perimeter of the triangle is 19.5 cm.
