Answer: 27 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

For the equilateral triangle,

2y + 3 = x +2 = x + y -1

From x + 2 = x+ y - 1, we get

         y = 3

∴,       2 × 3 + 3 = x + 2

⇒       x + 2 = 9

⇒       x = 7

Thus the perimeter of the triangle

                              = [ ( 2 × 3) + 3 ] cm + [ 7 + 2 ] cm + [ 7 + 3 - 1 ] cm

                              = 27 cm
