Answer:

hey mate! hope this helps you

Step-by-step explanation:

ratio is 25:17:12

so the sides are 25x, 17x, 12x

now 25x +17x + 12x = 540

54x =540

x =10

25x =250

17x =170

12x = 120

the smallest side is 120 m

GIVEN :-

  • Sides of triangular park are in the ratio 25:17:12.
  • perimeter of a triangular park is 540 m.

TO FIND :-

  • The smallest side of the park.

SOLUTION :-

★ Let the ratio constant be x.

Sides of triangular park are,

  • 25x , 17x , 12x.

Perimeter = 540

➼ sum of all sides = 540

➼ 25x + 17x + 12x = 540

➼ 54x = 540

➼ x = 540/54

x = 10.

Hence the value of x is 10.

★ Sides of triangular park are,

  • 25x = 25 × 10 = 250 m
  • 17x = 17 × 10 = 170 m
  • 12x = 12 × 10 = 120 m

250 > 170 > 120.

Hence the smallest side of the park is 120 m.
