Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER

Let the length of the cuboid =6x, breadth =5x, height =3x

Total surface area of a cuboid of length l, breadth b and height h

=2(l×b+b×h+l×h)

Given, total surface area of the cuboid =504cm

2

2(6x×5x+5x×3x+6x×3x)=504cm

2

126x

2

=504

=>x=2

Hence, the length of the cuboid =6x=12cm, breadth =5x=10cm, height =3x=6cm

Volumeof a cuboid of length l, breadth b and height h =l×b×h

So, the volume of the cuboid with length =12cm, breadth =10cm and height =6cm=12×10×6=720cm

Given :

⬤ Sides of Cuboid are in the Ratio 6:4:3 .

⬤ Surface Area of its Faces are 432 m² .

To Find :

⬤ Sides of Cuboid .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Surface\:Area\:of\:Cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)}\:]

  • l = length
  • b = breadth
  • h = height

Solution :

According to the Formula :-

432 = 2(lb + bh + hl)

432 = 2(6x*4x + 4x*3x + 3x*6x)

432/2 = 24x² + 12x² + 18x²

216 = 54x²

216/54 = x²

4 = x²

√4 = x

2 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 2 .

Hence ,

Length of Cuboid = 6x

= 6(2)

= 12

Breadth of Cuboid = 4x

= 4(2)

= 8

Height of Cuboid = 3x

= 3(2)

= 6

Therefore , The Length , Breadth and Height of Cuboid are 12 m , 8 m and 6 m .
