Answer:

## WE KNOW ,

ALL SIDES OF EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE ARE EQUAL.

SO,

X+ 3Y= 3X+ 2Y -2

X-3X= 2Y- 3Y -2

- 2X = -Y -2

-2 X= -(Y+2)

2X= Y+2

Y = 2X-2......(1)

NOW AGAIN ,

X+ 3Y = 4X+ Y/2 + 1

3Y- Y/2 = 4X - X +1

(6Y- Y)/2 = 3X +1

5Y/2 = 3X + 1

putting the value of Y from eq.1

[ 5(2X-2) ]/2 = 3X+1

(10X -10)/2 = 3X +1

10X - 10 = 6X + 2

10X-6 X = 2+10

4X = 12

X= 3 ......

SO, Y = 2X+2

Y = 2(3)+2

= 8

= Y

NOW , SIDES ARE

1. X+3Y= 3+ 3× 8

=27 Cm

each side is 27cm .

you can check it yourself..,....ok

be careful while doing calculation.,..,.. WARNING.

thank you...
