ATQ

Perimeter = 2( l+b )
76 = 2( 11x+8x )
36 = 19x
x = 36 divided by 19
x = 1.89 ( approx )

LET THE FIRST SIDE BE 11 x

LET THE SECOND SIDE BE 8 x

PERIMETER OF THE RECTANGLE = SUM OF ALL SIDES i.e. 76 m

ACCORDING TO QUESTION:

11 x +8 x +11 x +8 x = 76 m

38 x = 76 m

x = 76/38

x=2

first side = 11 x = 11 · 2=22 m           ans.

second side = 8 x = 8 · 2 =16 m      ans.
