 \sqrt{s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)}

s =  \frac{a+b+c}{2}

s =  \frac{(12+10+6)m}{2}

s =  \frac{28m}{2}

s =  14m

By using Heron's formula : -

 \sqrt{s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)}

 \sqrt{14 (14-12) (14-10) (14-6)}

 \sqrt{14 (2) (4) (8)}

 \sqrt{7×2×2×2×2×2×2×2}

 2×2×2 \sqrt{7×2}

 8 \sqrt{14}
