Step-by-step explanation:

Let the sides of triangle be = x

So the sides will be = 2x, 3x , 4x

Shortest side is = 2 x

So shortest side will be = 2x = 12

= x = 12/2 = 6 cm

So rest of the sides will be =

2 x = 2× 6 = 12 cm

3x = 3×6 = 18 cm

4 x = 4×6 = 24 cm.

Perimeter of the triangle is = Sum of all sides

= 12+18+24= 54 cm ( ans)
