Here, sides PQ and PR are produced to S and T respectively.

And ∠ SQR < ∠ TRQ

so 180° - ∠ SQR > 180° - ∠ TRQ         [Subtracting both sides by 180°]

or ∠ PQR > ∠ PRQ

hence PR > PQ      [as side oppsoite to greater angle is greater]

NOTE : You may have in your mind that how 180° - ∠SQR > 180° - ∠TRQ,

let us take an example,

3 < 4 but 10 − 3 > 10 − 4
