SOLUTION:

__________

The given ratio is 9: 12: 18

Let the sides be 9x cm, 12x cm and 18x cm

ACQ

Longest side is 12 cm

in the given ratios it is clear that 18 represents the biggest side

∴ 18 x = 12

⇒ x = 12/18

⇒ x = 2/3

Putting the value of x in 9x , 12x and 18x we get the sides of the triangles

9x = 9×2/3 = 6

12x = 12× 2/3 = 8

18x = 18 × 2/3 12 (which is already given in the question)

So , the sides are 6 cm, 8 cm and 12 cm
