The Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh introduced the Khalsa in 1699. And after his death in 1708, the Khalsa,under the leadership of Banda Bahadur Singh, revolted against the Mughals. They declared independence and minted coins under the name of Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh.
