The silencer of a motorcycle plays a very important role in the overall performance of a motorcycle. It helps reduce the sound of the engine. When the silencer is broken, the motorbike will no longer be silenced and it will produce a loud noise. Now some people would like it but some would hate it because it can easily induce a headache.

Also,you will lose out on low end torque due to absence of back pressure, and gain on high end power.  Its a cheap way of getting a free flow exhaust.

Therefore if you don't not have have issues with the loud noise, you can keep it as is, or you can get it repaired to save the environment from noise pollution.
