Hey mate !!!
silver is coorroded due to => H2S ( hydrogen sulphite ) .
process of crossoion is also known as "Tanishing ".
here is your reaction ;-
Ag + H2S => AgS + H2
here , there is formation of silver Sulphide which is " Black " in colour .
