Simple interest = 3/5 of Principal

= 3/5 * P = Rs. 3P/5

Time (T) = 5years

Simple interest = PTR/100

3P/5 = P * 5 * R/100

3P = (P * 5 * R/100) * 5

3P = 25P * R/100

3P/25P = R/100

3/25 = R/100

3/25 * 100 = R

R = 300/25

R = 12

(C) 12% is the answer.
