The simple interest on a sum of money for 5 years at 6% per annum is rupees 120 more than the interest on the same sum at 5% per annum for 4 years. find the sum invested . answer is rs 1200

P× 4×5/100 + 120 = P× 5×6/100

So 20P + 12,000 = 30P ,

So 10P = 12,000 , P = 1,200.

Invested sum = 1200

Hope it's helpful
