Answer:

The simplest formula of compound is ABC.

Explanation:

1) Number of atoms of A element in a cubic unit cell =

1\times \frac{1}{8}=8

Each corner is shared by 8 cubic unit cells.

2) Number of atoms of B element in a cubic unit cell =

There are total 6 faces in ac cubic cell. But the atom B is present on the alternative faces which means two faces of cubic unit cell :

2\times \frac{1}{2}=1

Each face is shared by 2 cubic unit cells.

3) Number of atoms of C  element in a cubic unit cell =

C atom present at one third  of the edges of the cube.

\frac{1}{4}\times 12\frac{1}{3}=1

Each edge is shared by 4 cubic unit cells.

The simplest formula of compound is ABC.
